Stampin' Up! envelope punch board crackers

How exciting, have just dicovered another great way to use my new envelope punch board from stampin' up!  Crackers - yes for christmas or to put any gift inside.

Have not decided what I am going to use this one for yet so have left in undecorated but can put whatever embellishment on with tags, glitter etc to personalise for whatever occasion.

Stampin' Up! Halloween Bat from Owl Punch

Well it has been a really stormy windy morning, although luckily it passed by quickly and there was no damage here.  With winds of 99mph recorded further south was expecting to wake up with fences down and no power.

So a fun hanging bat card, made using the stampin' up! owl punch (just love all the cookie characters you can create with this punch).  Have used my new rotary trimmer addition to make the fluted edges and the envelope punch board to round the edges of the card.

Stampin' Up! Hanging Star

Thought I would show you all the other ornament I made.  This time I have used very vanilla cardstock and stamped my own design on both sides.  Just love this idea and am going to make all my cristmas tags like this, what a great idea when someone gets their christmas gift to have an ornament to hang on the tree.

 This is such a beautiful idea and is far simpler than it looks.  If you want to know how to make this star then just drop me a line or come to one of my workshops (dates on the link at top of page) as we are making these and other christmas goodies over the next couple of months.

This is a fabulous idea for making a little tage for hanging off a present or gift that when opened turns into a lovely star.  Hang it from the tree, in a window, or anywhere else you fancy.

It looks quite complicated but is really easy to do with a little careful folding and sticking.  It looks great with designer series paper, or stamp your own design.

Stampin' Up! Halloween crackers

So today another twist on the cracker idea using the stampin' up! envelope punch board.  This time I created a triangular cracker instead of the rectangular and used the owl punch to create a little ghosty to embellish.

 A little bit of halloween fun and filled with some choccies will be given to one of my lovely grandkids.

Stampin' up! thinlets label card

Another great product from stampin' up!  Ever wanted to make those fun swing cards and spent hours trying to line everything up and fiddle around trying to cut and fold.  I tried and somehow it never really looked very professional and always seemed to be on a bit of a wonky angle.  Well stampin' up! have given me the solution.  A simple framelet you just whirl it through the big shot and voila.

So now I am going to make lots of swing/flip cards that are easy to do and fun to make.

Stampin' up! envelope punch board. Making Tags

How exciting the stampin' up! envelope punch board is a new product to be launched shortly.  It makes envelopes for all types of cards from the tiniest gift tags up to really large ones.  Loving the fact that I can make co-ordinating envelopes for all my cards and those awkward sizes that are impossible to find pre-bought envelopes for I can just make my own.

However like all stampin' up! products they are really versatile so I thought I would make some tags for putting on christmas parcels, thinking ahead as I do!.  I can round corners, make a fluted top to the tags and then of course I decorated it to make the christmas feel.

The lovely christmas sentiment is from the seasonal catalogue 'Christmas Messages' and there are 9 fab christmasy sentiments.

Stampin up! birthday card

This card has lots of texture added by running designer series paper and cardstock through the big shot with one of stampin' up! embossing folders

I used the pretty print embossing folder from the new seasonal catalogue £7.50 and the butterfly punches (two great sizes that co-ordinate together).

I have had so much fun making this lovely polar bear card using different punches.

I have a lot of requests for christmas cards without the red/green traditional colours or christmas sentiments and many of my friends celebrate Yule on the 21st December.  The sentiment Peace on Earth is appropriate for all such cards.

I have been a stampin' up! demonstrator for a year now and I enjoy every moment.  Crafting is a way of relaxing for me.  I take myself off to my craft room and lose myself in my imagination trying to create something different or trying a new technique each time I craft.

Personalised Birthday Card

Happy Saturday everybody :)

The weather is awful today and it is pouring with rain so it is a day in my craft room.  I have another order from a customer for a birthday card for a guy for his 50th, so no bling or sparkles.

Stampin' Up! DSP Candy Treats

A great way to use up all those little scraps of pretty designer series paper is to make some candy/sweet treats.

At this time of year it is easy to get hold of chocolate coins to hang on the tree and they are great to decorate, either as tree ornaments, table treats, halloween goodies, or as a grown up theme in black and gold for a dinner party table treat.

Another way is to cut and fold little boxes, decorate with ribbon & a tag and again great treat filled with a mini size candy/sweet.  I chose smarties for my boxes and sold them at a recent craft fayre.  The kids really loved the treats and the mums loved the boxes.

And of course with all these sweets and candy treat ideas here is a pretty bag and a small box, that can be filled with chocolates and candies and the little box would take 4 small chocolates or one big one.

With all these yummy treats I thought  would enter this in the following competition.

Stampin' Up! Candles

Morning everyone :)

Just rushing off to work so a quick post so I thought I would show you some of the lovely candles I made for the recent craft fayre I did.

The candles I wrapped in clear selophane and tied with some natural raffia.  They were really popular and I will be doing more for the christmas season.
