Stampin Up Sweet Storybook. Using the Leaves on Projects

The SWEET STORYBOOK BUNDLE is a new stamp set and coordinating thinlets in the new annual catalogue.  I have been using this bundle in lots of different ways and today I am concentrating on the leaf foliage stamp.

This first card uses the foliage stamp simply stamped in Mint Macaron and the little flowers stamped at the end of each one of the fronds in Calypso Coral with a couple die cut in Real Red for a little dimension.  The sentiment from the set is die cut with the rectangular die from the same thinlets.

For this card we stepped it up a bit by adding some die cut flowers from the COLOURFUL SEASONS stamp set and coordinating dies.  For this card I stamped the foliage stamp from the Sweet Storybook, stamping off once to get a subtle tone and then using the STAMPARATUS in my opinion the best positioning tool on the market, stamp around the edge of the card.  The card I used was 4.75" square with a matt of Tranquil Tide 5" square.

The stamp and die cut two of the leaf foliage images, they stamp and cut in a pair, one in Tranquil Tide and the other in Lemon/Lime Twist.  With our PAPER SNIPS, perfect sharp pointed and easy to use craft scissors, cut the leaves apart and then place in a wreath around the card and stick down using dimenionals to some height and interest.  Arrange the flowers around the card and then add a sentiment of your choice in the middle.

One of the best things about Stampin Up products is their versatility. One stamp set and coordinating die can create so many different projects.  This is why I love being a Stampin Up Demonstrator, sharing all these lovely things with you all.

Here are a couple of videos using the Sweet Storybook in different ways. Enjoy and please look at subscribing to my YouTube channel and blog as I post regularly and love sharing new ideas with Stampin Up with you all.
