BRUSHO. crystals are little pots of crystal pigment ink which if you sprinkle on cardstock or watercolour paper and spritz with water burst into fabulous colours.
In this background piece I used DAISY DELIGHT stamp set and embossed the image randomly in gold, silver and black embossing powder.
How to Use Brusho Two Ways
- First use Brusho as watercolour paint. Shake a few crystals on a block and add a little water with an AQUA PAINTER. and then paint with the aqua painter. I did this for the centres of the daisies.
- Sprinkle Brusho onto your cardstock or watercolour paper and spritz to get a lovely mottled burst image. I did this on the background using Prussian Blue, Brilliant Red, Yellow and Gamboge.
By embossing your image first it gives a lovely textured detail to your project and if water colouring alone allows the water to stay inside the embossed areas.
Here is a close up of the project. Although the black embossing stands out clearer in the photograph the gold and silver are beautiful too as they shimmer which does not show up on the photo.
