So here is today's card

I have lots of poppies growing in my garden covered in butterflies and bumble bees and this was my inspiration for this card.

All of these poppies were self seeded by the birds and each year I collect the seed and then sprinkle in the garden in the Spring  and have a lovely bloom of poppies.

Card inspiration can come from so many things and nature and our gardens in one wonderful way.

Here is a step by step video tutorial to show you how to make this card for yourself.

Make a simple book bound Journal/Notebook using Perennial Essence dsp

Perennial Essence dsp patterned paper is so gorgeous why not make a simple journal/notebook to show it in all it's glory.

Every page of this patterned paper is like looking at a work of art.  If you like a wide palette of colours from blues and purples to pinks and yellows and greens, then this paper if for you.

I wanted to show the paper off so decided to make a simple journal/notebook with the papers inside the notebook stamped with the coordinating Floral Essence stamp set.

This paper reminds me of Monet's art work as it has that lovely washed look and just lends itself so well to a cover.

I have made a step by step video for you to make one for yourself. So please have a go as it really is quite simple.  The sewn book binding is a really easy way to attach your pages, all you need is some twine, thread or ribbon and a wide eyed needle.

Here are the measurements.

Cardstock for cover 9 1/2" x 6 1/2"  scored at 5" and 5 1/2" to give a 1/2" spine

Matt - 6 1/4" x 4 1/4"
DSP (patterned paper) 6" x 4"

Spine matt 6 1/4 x 3/8"      dsp 6" x 3/16"

Pages ( as many as you want. I used 6 pages)
8 1/2" x 6 1/4" folded in half.

All products are available from 4th June 2019 from my shop HERE

Stampin Up New Perennial Flower Punch - Two Tone Stamping.

Stampin Up New annual catalogue launches June 3rd 2019 and the Perrenial Flower Punch is a must have to create lovely punched flowers. Combine it with the Floral Essence stamp set and get a 10% discount.

How pretty is this flower? Created with the new Perennial Flower Punch and the Floral Essence stamp set in the new annual catalogue.

I used Whisper White Craft Ink and Gorgeous Grape ink pads to create a lovely two tone image. Using white craft ink works really well on lined stamps like this to give some lovely natural highlights and on coloured cardstocks really makes it stand out.

As always I have made a step by step video tutorial so you can have a go and create this lovely flower.

The new annual catalogue will be with all my customers who have purchased in the last year FREE of charge and postage, over the next week, so I hope you are excited as I am and have pen and paper ready for a large wish list as this is a stunning catalogue jam packed with gorgeousness.

Want a catalogue and not a customer yet? Email me allmark.j@sky.com and I will be happy to send you a copy in the post so you can join my growing customers and buy some of these gorgeous products.

Love Florals? then the NEW Stampin Up Floral Essence is a must have.

Love Florals then the NEW Stampin Up Floral Essence stamp set is a must. Order your copy of the new Annual catalogue ready for the 3rd June launch now.

How beautiful is this Floral Essence stamp set.  The card I chose to showcase this new set which launches June 3rd in the new Annual catalogue uses my favourite colour combination of Highland Heather and Gorgeous Grape with the leaves toned in Old Olive.

Look at all those lovely layers. By using dimensionals the three flowers at the front and one of the larger flowers have been given layering with them.

Want a copy of the new catalogue posted directly to you in time for the 3rd June launch then just get in touch.  If you are a customer and have ordered in the past year your copy will be on its way.

Excited? so am I - this catalogue is full of amazing product and always with Stampin Up you canbe assured of the highest quality standards.

Here is a step by step video to make this gorgeous card.
