Timeless Tags Easter Card

Timeless Tags thinlet dies and coordinating stamp set is so much more than making Tags. Today's project uses the little flower stamp and die to make a lovely Easter card.

To add dimension to the card I first stamped the flowers and watercoloured using wisteria wonder and flirty flamingo by using the aquapainter you can pick up just a little colour and blend to give a soft look. I then die cut eight further flowers coloured and then mounted on dimensionals to give height. With an Easter sentiment from the teeny tiny  wishes sentiment set a real must have go to stamp set as it has a sentiment for most occasions
All items can be purchased through the shop button above.
I hold regular technique classes on the last Friday of the month 7pm - 9pm in the Farnham GU9 area. So please get in touch if you would like to attend one of these classes.

Stitched framelits tutorials Part One

Over the next 3 days I am going to show you how to create three totally different cards using the stitched framelits and how versatile these are.  These framelits give a beautiful stitched border in squares, circles and ovals and for these projects I have used the largest of the circles.
The first card is using the stitched circle with the timeless tags. I used the butterflies and the flowers to decorate the outside of the circle and mounted on an island Indigo die cut circle and popped up on dimensionals to give depth. This was mounted on a piece of blooms and bliss dsp mounted on another piece of island Indigo to frame the whole card. The great thing with Stampin Up products is they all coordinate so I was able to colour the flowers with an island Indigo marker to tie everything together.

So a stitched circle framelits, dsp and cardstock, a marker pen and the timeless tags framelits gives a beautiful card.

Come back tomorrow for part 2 where I will be using this same framelit to create a totally different look using sponge daubers and various inkpads.
All products used can be found at the shop button above, so do have a browse.

The cutest baby card with Stampin Up Moon Baby

I am a woman and a mother and a grandmother and there is nothing nicer than having a new baby in the family. That smell of baby powder, those cute little murmurs and chuckles and whenever we pick up a baby that gentle rocking motion we all do.

Well Stampin Up Moon Baby page 17 in the Spring/summer catalogue 143082 ten rubber stamps for on wood blocks £25 or for clear blocks £18 gives you that feeling. There are 5 sentiments and five images to create the most beautiful baby cards. Click the shop button above to order yours.

I took the baby sleeping on the moon for this card. I made a mask in paper to cover the stamped image so I could sponge the background in various shades of blue from marina mist to night of navy with some rich razzleberry round the edge for a slight purpley hue. The image was watercoloured using our watercolour pencils and an aquapainter and the lovely little butterfly and stars were from the Timeless Tags. I embossed some star images from the Moon Baby stamp set and the sentiment.

Remember until end of March for every £45 spent you can choose a free item from the Sale a Bration brochure. Who doesn't like free stuff?

Have a great day and catch you again tomorrow for more crafty ideas and inspirations💜
