Stampin Up In This World behind the door

As you know from watching my blog these past couple of days I have been playing with this fab set In This World. Today I have done a card using the door and carefully cutting round three sides to open it (I used a craft knife) and then putting the chair behind the door with the sentiment.

Really pleased with this idea and again have not seen this elsewhere so if you CASE please credit me Jane Allmark.

I used Sahara sand, soft suede, and primrose petals inks and watercoloured the images using the aqua painter and ink.

Shop at the link above for all your Stampin Up needs as there are lots of lovely papercraft goodies in the annual catalogue. When checking your order out please use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice. I'm not one of the big boys so every single order matters to me :)

Stampin Up In This World make a hexagon cube.

We'll have been playing with this fab stamp set and the geometric shapes are great to cut out put some tabs on and then make a six sided cube.

So this is a draft to see if the idea would work which it does. Take 6 butterflies and put three over three. The points which I did concave need to be cut very accurately, which I didn't do on this draft or tabbed out to make a point.

Bit fiddly but I love creating a new idea and then letting the rest of the Stampin world run with it.  This is called CASE copy and share everything and I hope if copied I am credited for it.

Stampin Up In This World

Sometimes when a new catalogue comes out there are so many new and wonderful products that it is easy to overlook some of the stamps. This set is a bit like that. There don't seems to be many examples or showcases of this stamp set and I for won am very excited as I think it is a very versatile and modern stamps with a real engineering, architectural feel.

The gorgeous butterfly stamp can be stamped six times to form a hexagon and then pit the sentiment in the middle. I have done this one just off the page so it doesn't have to be lined up perfectly. The stamp a majig is perfect for lining things up. I really like this and have simply watercoloured in various shades of blue.

This stamp set is available in the annual catalogue, follow the link above and use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice.

Check back tomorrow and I will show you how to make a six sided box with this butterfly.

Stampin Up Baby Bear

The gorgeous new in colours from Stampin Up has a colour sweet sugarplum which is a lovely subtle lilac colour and was perfect for this lovely bear stamp set.  It is a three step stamp set meaning ther are three components to the bear to add depth and tone. Now they are numbered 123 but I fine if you use 321 so the detail first and ending with the solid background it is easy to line up and see through the photopolymer stamp.

The sentiments for this stamp are lovely from wedding to new baby to general so this set can be used for many different occasions.

The link above take you to the Stampin Up website and when ordering please use me as your demonstrator of choice.

Thanks and have a good week. Back soon with more showcases of the new annual catalogue.

Stampin Up Hostess Set Love you Lots

This is one of the loveliest hostess sets that Stampin Up has done, in my humble opinion, and as such I am going to showcase all of the lovely images over the coming days. Yesterday was the time of the little frog, check back to see it, and today ladybirds.

I stamped the ladybirds quite randomly along the bottom of the cardstock, watercoloured used the Stampin Up aquabrush and then added a sentiment.

I mounted the card on black to make the ladybirds pop.  Apart from monochrome the only colour used was the red which gives quite a striking card.

Follow the link above to take you to the Stampin Up website where you can order and when placing your order use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice.

Check back tomorrow for another character from this greys hostess set and remember if you are in the GU area I am happy to come along so you can host a party and get this fabulous set.

Stampin Up Fairy Celebration

How exciting Stampin Up have given us a fairy stamp set. It is a gorgeous set which reminds me of the illustrations of the flower fairies in the children's book I had when I was a child.

Lots of options with this set and the sentiments are adorable.
Sweet sugarplum one of the new in colours is my favourite so I teamed it with wisteria wonder and used the blender pens to colour the image and then mounted on those colours. Had to use a bit of sparkle and the card was complete.

If you love fairies too then click on the link above and you will be magically whisked to the Stampin Up website where you can browse the catalogue and if you do order please think of me and use Jane Allmark as you demonstrator of choice.

Thanks and have a magical day

Stampin Up Bella and Friends

I just love this stamp set and one of the reasons is that I have a beautiful 9 month old cockapoo called Luna & the images from this set remind me of her.
As you can see she is a real cutesie. So today I was playing with the new in colour dapper denim and the Bella and Friends stamp set both from the new annual catalogue. Take a look for yourself by following the link above and when ordering choose me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice.

I water coloured the image using Stampin Up marker pens picked up with a watercolour brush to give a subtle wash.

Stampin Up In this World

The new Stampin up catalogue is now in full swing and I have chosen some lovely stamp sets to use and showcase.

This stamp set In this World is a gorgeous set with quite and antique architectural style.  It would be great for a male card, someone who is into woodwork in any way or just a modern style of card.

This one I mounted on black and cut the sentiment is strips to use across the card. I coloured the door in several shades of brown and used two tones of red/pinks for the butterfly and chair. Stampin up markers are fab for this.

This second card is a step up as I used crumb cake cardstock and inked tone on tone in crumb cake round the edges and on the sentiment. I fussy cut the door and the chair in whisper White cardstock, coloured and then stuck to the crumb cake. This gives more of a vintage feel and without the butterfly makes a lovely masculine card.

All the supplies used are from Stampin Up and if you click on the link above it takes you to their website where you can order.  Please if you do use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice.

Thanks for stopping by.

Stampin Up Baby Bear

I have just received delivery of some rather lovely stamp sets from the new annual catalogue and have been playing with the baby bear set.

Now if you are like me I normally avoid triple step stamps as they can be difficult to line up and never look as good as in the catalogue. Well this time I have been surprised.  As this set is photopolymer it is easy to see through and with the curve of the bottom of the bear it lines up really easily. Eureka!

So I used Sahara sand, crumb cake and soft suede as the three tones and the gorgeous sweet sugarplum for the bow tie, sentiment and background dsp ( although I cheated and used the envelope paper which works really well.

I think it is gorgeous.  The sentiments work for new baby, wedding and just a general card with this love you Beary  much. If you want this stamp set or any others click on the link above and when ordering use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice.  I am no computer whizz so ther aren't fancy links etc but by clicking on the catalogue it does take you to the Stampin up website and then I hope you will use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator. Thanks a lot and check back for more ideas from the new catalogue.

Stampin Up new catalogue new in colours

Well it has been a few weeks since I posted as have been on some adventures to Scotland, have a beautiful new dog who is just 9 months old, and the weather has been glorious so lots of gardening and outdoor pursuits.

So excuses out of the way, and today I post.

The Stampin up catalogue 2016/17 launched on the 1st June and is filled with lots of new exciting goodies. I have a long wish list and will be ordering later on today. So have a look by following the link above and if you do order please use me Jane Allmark as your demonstrator of choice.

The card I've chosen to showcase was inspired by the beautiful double poppies that are just blooming in my garden

The new flirty flamingo in colour cardstock has this vibrancy so I chose that colour and the dapper denim as I love pink and blue together.

The hearts border punch is a firm favourite too as it adds some added interest to a card and what better sentiment to add than hugs and kisses.

Have a lovely sunny fay
