Hanging Geometric Ball Ornament that can be filled with treats #5 Christmas Gift Ideas

Make this fantastic geometric ball hanging ornament that can be filled with a gift or treats for Christmas.  This is number 5 in my series of 12 gift ideas.

So this project is a little bit more complicated than I normally make, but if you take it slowly and follow the step by step instructions it is easier than it looks.

Cardstock cut at 8 1/4" x 5" so you can get 2 out of a standard sheet of cardstock
Score at 1" increments on both sides

With the narrow scores on the right hand side fold the first line of scores down and mark at 1/2" on every other square.
Fold the other side down and repeat making a small tick mark at 1/2" on every alternate square

With a ruler and scoring tool score from the tick mark to the corner to form a triangle. Do the same on other side, so you will end up with a diamond shape, with the triangles scored in opposite directions.

Cut away the squares where the triangles are .
Crease on each of the triangle folds.

You can buy a selection of cardstock and patterned paper from my shop HERE

There is a step by step video tutorial which will take you through this process.

Perfectly Plaid Tag & Bookmark combo #4 Christmas Gift Ideas

This is #4 in my series of Christmas Gift Ideas and this project is a great tag and bookmark combo using the Perfectly Plaid Bundle and the gorgeous tartan paper

These tags with bookmarks tucked inside would make perfect gifts for the men.  Who doesn't like to give the men folk in our lives a book for Christmas.  There is nothing better than to settle down after a huge Christmas dinner to a good book.  So these lovely bookmarks I'm sure will be a well received gift with their favourite book this Christmas time.

Measurements are super simple.  Use a sheet of 6" x 6" patterned paper and score on one side at 2" and 4"

For the bookmark the size is 4 3/4" x 1 3/4" with any other matts cut 1/4" smaller.

Here is a step by step video tutorial so you can have a go at making these ready to add to a book for the festive season.

Joy of Sets Tic Tac Toe Challenge Blog #JOSTTT011 - Jane Allmark Amethystarcrafting Design Team

Hello and welcome to November Tic Tac Toe Challenge Blog. The line I chose was WINTER, FRIENDS and LAYERS.

This is a fun monthly challenge blog where you chose any line and create a card using those themes.

This card would also work for the line Monochrome, Layers and Punch as the little heart was punched from the dog punch which has a cute little heart too.

I love the font on this stamp set Playful Penguins as it looks hand written which I like very much.

So why don't you join in with the challenge blog. If you are chosen as a winner you get to display a winners badge on your own blog and get to be a Guest Designer for the following month. Just follow the link HERE

Have fun and enjoy.
