Stampin Up Peaceful Noel #simplestamping

Stamping doesn't need to be complicated or take a lot of supplies.  Sometimes keeping it simple can achieve so beautiful results. #simplestamping is making everyone aware that simple stamping can be just as fun as using every technique in the book.

This card uses just two inkpads Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide and just one stamp set Peaceful Noel. The ribbon is an added extra from Jar of Love but could easily be replaced by using any little ribbon you may have.

Using Shimmer Paint two ways for Christms with Stampin Up Varied Vases & Peaceful Noel

At Stampin Up Convention this year celebrating their 30th anniversary, there were a lot of demonstrations aimed at #simplestamping.   As crafters once we have been crafting for a while it is easy to create projects that are aimed at the avid crafter and those with many techniques under their belt.  So taking things back to simple stamping can be very rewarding and shows how everyone, even the newest stamper can create beautiful cards and projects using minimal supplies and techniques.

This card show one layer stamping, using two colours Merry Merlot and Tranquil Tide and two stamp sets Varied Vases and Peaceful Noel.  Step this one layer card up with some Shimmer Paint, I chose the copper, and two simple and different techniques to use the Shimmer Paint quickly and easily.

To show you how to create this card, I have added a step by step video tutorial which will show you from start to finish how to make this card and use the two different ways to add some copper shimmer to the vases and fir sprigs.

Stampin Up Peaceful Noel - How to use this set not just for Christmas

Peaceful Noel is a lovely stamp set and can be used for many card projects not just for Christmas.  I will be making lot of Christmas projects from October onwards but I love that so many of Stampin Up stamp sets can be used all year round.

As always here is a free video tutorial to show you how to create this fun card.  There is some tone on tone stamping and layering, but as always it is a quick and simple card to follow.

My little dog Luna has a habit of introducing herself on video by barking at anyone that happens to come down my road and chooses to do this when I am in the middle of filming.  So for all you dog lovers out there who have wondered who the barking belongs to, here she is.

This is my little cutie.  She is a three year old cockapoo and is my fur baby. Here she is with her favourite toys.

How to create a shimmery background using Stampin Up Peaceful Noel & Vegas Gold

When we craft we can always make a blooper and when I created the video for this card I managed to put this card together upside down.  When I viewed it back I thought I would keep it in as it made me giggle that I couldn't fathom out what I had done wrong. So a quick replacing of the dimensionals and everything was good.

This is the pretty card I created. Making a background and layer using the splodge stamp from Peaceful Noel

The Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint can be inked up with a sponge dauber onto the stamp and then stamped onto the image to create a gorgeous gold effect.

How great is this card.  I used Tranquil Tide and Lemon/Lime Twist for inks and cardstock and the STAMPARATUSprobably the best positioning tool on the market. and just three stamps from the Peaceful Noel.

The patterned corner stamp, the little line of dots and part of the sentiment Happiness.

Stampin Up Peaceful Noel wreath using Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint to stamp

As Christmas is a good few months away I am showing you how to create beautiful cards using the Christmas stamp sets like Peaceful Noel. So this is using the little twig stamp to create a wreath with a sentiment from Dandelion Wishes perfect for an anniversary or wedding.
