Christmas Crafting on a budget - #10 Simple peek a boo card using Nature's Beauty

#10 of my series Christmas Crafting on a budget is a simple peek a boo card using Nature's Beauty stamp set 9 images for £20.

Nature's Beauty is a set for all wildlife lovers with a deer, fox and rabbit, which can be used all year round for any occasion.  As this is Christmas we are going to make an easy peek a boo card.

The whole card uses just the stamps from Nature's Beauty apart from the sentiment which is taken from Beauty & Joy which we used for #1 - 5# in this series.

Watch the video tutorial for a step by step instructions to make this card.

Christmas Crafting on a budget #8 Nature's Beauty Winter Trees

Nature's Beauty is a 9 piece stamp set for £20 and £2.50 from each set will be donated to a mental health charity, making a difference and giving something back.

This is number 8 in my series of Christmas Crafting on a budget, where we take one stamp set and make 5 different projects making the most of the stamp set and making it budget friendly and great value for money.

This card is made easily using just 2 ink pad colours Pacific Point and Pool Party with a basic black for stamping the trees with.

#simplestamping is all about taking a few supplies and creating a beautiful card, quickly and simply and this really fits the bill.

Take two pieces of torn copy paper to mask your area and work with the two blues to create a background. Stamp the trees in the black ink and your card is done.

Watch my step by step video tutorial to see how and thanks so much for subscribing and clicking the notification bell so you haven't missed any of the videos.

Make Two Tri-Fold Cards From One Sheet Of Cardstock - Joy of Sets Blog Hop

Nature's Beauty stamp set really makes a difference. For every stamp set that is sold £2.50 will be donated to Mental Health organisations. So please look at buying this stamp set and helping others.

Tri-fold cards is the challenge for this month's blog hop with the Joy of Sets and it is something that I make very seldom. I know that there are quite a few newer crafters who haven't tried a tri-fold card before, so I have posted a step by step video tutorial to show you how to make 2 from one sheet of cardstock giving two 4" x 4" cards.

I have made these in tones of grey and black which I think work perfectly.

Follow the step by step video tutorial below -

The measurements are -
Cut an A4 sheet of card stock to 11" x 4" (you can get two from the one sheet)
Score on the long side at 2" and 3 3/4" on both ends.
Front Panel matt - 3 3/4" x 3 3/4" and 3" x 3" and 2 3/4" x 2 3/4"
Side panels in dsp 2 pieces 3 3/4" x 1 3/4"
Inside matt - 3 3/4" x 3 1/4" (Watch the video to see how it all goes together)

Join in with the hop and go and see what other Tri-Fold cards have been created to give you lots of inspiration to make your own and give it a go.

The lovely fox was simply coloured in Smoky Slate with our Aqua Painters

The rabbit again was coloured in Smoky Slate and then put on a stitched shapes die circle.

Stampartus Simple One Layer Card using New Nature's Beauty & Beauty & Joy

The Stampin Up Autumn/Winter Holiday catalogue is available 4th September 2019. Get in touch for your FREE copy.

Today's sneak peek is the lovely Nature's Beauty and this will be a very special stamp set as £2.50 from every purchase will be donated to Mental Health Organisation.  So please do your bit and on the 4th September when this set is available buy your stamp set from my shop.

With Christmas fast approaching, I  know that us crafters try and get a head start on our card making and projects for the holiday season and with the launch of the Stampin Up Autumn/Winter catalogue on the 4th September there will be lots of choose from. Over the coming weeks I hope to share with you some of these products to help in your buying choices.

Postage is always something to consider when making cards as it seems to be getting more and more expensive and really does depend on the thickness of your card.  This card is a one layer card and uses the STAMPARATUS in my opinion the best positioning tool on the market. It makes creating this wreath super easy.

If you missed the DIY wreath template instructions see them HERE

Here is  a step by step video tutorial to show you how to make this card *please note that I used the Beauty and Joy new stamp set for the sentiment and the little berries to finish off the card, however this was after I had finished the video as I thought it needed a little extra something and decided to make it a Christmas card.
