Stampin' Up! Mixed Media Wall Art

Well the festive season is almost upon us and I have been making some last minute presents.  I decided I would make some wall art for my grandkids.  I was lucky enough to have some scraps of wood which I then covered with torn pieces of designer series paper using PVA glue and then the fun began.  Lots of layers, buttons, ribbon, stamped colours to blend and then results are something unique and personal.

Really pleased with the results.

For all your stampin' up! needs just drop me a line allmark.j@sky.com or you can order direct from stampin' up! online just use me JANE ALLMARK as your demonstrator when you check out.

Stampin' Up! Best of Christmas candles

I had some little gifts to make for some of my friends for a pre-christmas party so I decided to use the lovely deer from the Best of Christmas stamp set to decorate some candles.

With some dazzling diamonds glitter on the antlers and a piece of dsp wrapped around the bottom it made a great little gift.

Stampin' Up! Christmas Wreath

Well the holiday season is almost upon us and for everyone who celebrates the season whether it be Christmas on the 25th or Yule on the 21st it is a busy fun filled time.

I have just made this lovely wreath to hang on my front door.  I used lots of scraps of designer series paper cut in 1/2 inch strips, curled them with the bone folder and then pinned on a polystyrene wreath form.  Am so pleased with the results as it has made a colourful ornament for the door.

Stampin' Up! Gift box card set

I wanted to make some little 3" x3" cards and envelopes and a pretty box to put them in to give us stocking stuffers for christmas, so this is what I came up with.

The box measure 51/4" x 51/4" scored at 1" with a wrapper or designer series paper and a tab hinge fixed with a piece of cardstock atached with a couple of brads.  The cards are 3" x 3" and I used the envelope punch board to make envelopes to fit.  This makes a great little set which can be made to suit any occasion.

As you know stampin' up! is my passion and so if you want to join my team or order anything just drop me a line allmark.j@sky.com

Stampin' Up! Yoda punch art card

It is my lovely grandson's birthday this week and he is a StarWars fan especially the lego so I have bought him a lego set for his birthday but wanted to try and make a personalised card for him.  You Tube is a fantastic place to get ideas and I found a way to make Yoda.  I have tweaked it a bit but know that he will be delighted.

I used the bird builder punch for his ears, sponged with soft suede to give texture,  The oval punch gave his head and body and some glimmer paper punched with the window punch made his light saber.  Had to personalise with his name and used sketch alphabet and numbers set 130565 at £19.95 which is fantastic value and allows me to personalise my cards.

Hope you like him, drop me a line allmark.j@sky.com if you would like a catalogue or would like to order any stampin' up! products.

Stampin' Up! Fun Christmas Card

Oh what fun! have been making some christmas cards for a class I take at the Gostrey Centre in Farnham for my senior citizens.  I have been doing this class now for nearly a year now and it has been so rewarding seeing how ladies have been growing in confidence and ability.  Their limitations have not held them back (stroke victims, parkinsons, failing eyesight) all of these have been put behind them and we have a great class full of laughter and fun ideas.  I try and bring something different every week for them to make and as it is coming up to christmas a jolly santa was made.

I used the largest oval die cut in half for the beard, the label framelit from the new label thinlet die with the little label punch for his belt buckle, some black cardstock for the belt and buttons and the sentiment is from the christmas messages.

Really simple card to make but quite effective and fun.

Stampin' Up! Treat bags

It is so lovely when you are invited round to a friends for dinner to be able to take something really special and personalised to the table.  I decided to make individual treat bags personalised with the diner's initials and filled them with chocolate liquers.  I used the stampin' up! scoreboard and the new thinlet label.  Using one sheet of designer series paper (can make two bags from each sheet) and some twine to tie the bags.

If you would like to make some treat boxes for the coming festive season table and live in the GU9 Farnham area then you can join one of my workshops (see details and dates at top of the page). Drop me a line allmark.j@sky.com

Stampin' Up! Thinlets

Had a 16th birthday card to make so thought I would use the new thinlets from stampin' up! as they create a really easy flip card.  On one side I put 16 for the birthday boy, and on the other his name Josh.  Birthdays are such fun and a 16th has to be a special one so I was delighted to be chosen to make this one.

The new thinlets inclusing the arrows and 'hi' are available to purchase now through stampin' up! and as a demonstrator I would be happy to order them for you.  If you would like to order direct online then please choose me as your demonstrator JANE ALLMARK

Stampin' Up! Candle

Was asked to make a candle for a couple for their engagement.  What a lovely time and nothig nicer than a personalised candle that will be given pride of place and a long lasting memory of a very special time.

Using all of the lovely stampin' up! inkpads to create lovely tones of colour and decorated with a band of designer series paper and ribbon.  Package my candles with florist clear wrap and a co-ordinated tag for a personal message.

The delighted Mum was delighted with this gift for her very special daughter and soon to be son-in-law.

Stampin' Up! Halloween Bat from Owl Punch

Well it has been a really stormy windy morning, although luckily it passed by quickly and there was no damage here.  With winds of 99mph recorded further south was expecting to wake up with fences down and no power.

Today is a spooktacular card to be entered into
http://cutecardthursday.blogspot.co.uk/2013/10/challenge-292-spooktacular.html

So a fun hanging bat card, made using the stampin' up! owl punch (just love all the cookie characters you can create with this punch).  Have used my new rotary trimmer addition to make the fluted edges and the envelope punch board to round the edges of the card.

Stampin' Up! have some great clearance items on their website so have been stocking up :) take a look and when you order please use me as your demonstrator JANE ALLMARK

Also if you are around the Farnham GU9 area and fancy joining one of my card making classes then there are still a few places left
