Love using embossing folders and this one is from the lovely sheena Douglass a Christmas rose. I used subtle colours and Matt and layered in gold tones

With some gold liquid pearls to finish the look

Gorgeous shimmer window card

Just love using shimmer paints & mica powders & this lovely window card with a tree lined scene is a perfect example for Christmas. Share the magic of the season

With a lovely addition of some snow the perfect Christmas card is complete. This is my favourite so far. Check back for more seasonal cards

Birthday card

It was my youngest son's 32 birthday yesterday. It astounds me how time flies. It seems like only yesterday when he was a little boy playing with his toys in his Thomas the tank engine pyjamas and now he is a husband and a father. The circle of life continues and I am so blessed to have such a wonderful family.

So I made him a birthday card with lots of stars and some great sentiments

And yes I love him and he is the best. So proud of all my family xx

Cute punch art Christmas reindeer card

This is such a cute idea (shared from fellow crafter) tweaked to my own style with lots of Christmas glitter. Just the sort of fun card for the grandkids this Christmas. Love his happy little face

Hope you like them

Reflection technique Christmas reindeer

I certainly can't take credit for this idea but have played around with it and made my own take. I love Christmas time but and not so keen on the standard red and green and like to use more unusual combinations.  This year in all the shops there are a lot of blue tone cards and blues and teals are a firm favourite of mine. These couple of cards are sponged in tones of blues and teals with some Sakura white 3D gel pens to add dimension to the water. Really like the way this has turned out.

It is a very wet and blustery day so ideal to spend time in my craft room and play around with more Christmas cards. Keep dropping by for more ideas 💜

Well as a crafter making Christmas cards early is a must. I have been making some lovely window frame cards, some looking in and some looking out. Am taking orders and they are proving very popular. Drop me line if you would like to order some. £2.50 each.

Thanks for dropping by and keep watching for more great Christmas ideas

Stampin up Summer by the Sea

This is a gorgeous golden oldie stamp set which I recently acquired. I just love colouring especially with my spectrum noir pens and pencils and these two clean and simple cards are really effective.
