Hanging Geometric Ball Ornament that can be filled with treats #5 Christmas Gift Ideas

Make this fantastic geometric ball hanging ornament that can be filled with a gift or treats for Christmas.  This is number 5 in my series of 12 gift ideas.

So this project is a little bit more complicated than I normally make, but if you take it slowly and follow the step by step instructions it is easier than it looks.

Measurements
Cardstock cut at 8 1/4" x 5" so you can get 2 out of a standard sheet of cardstock
Score at 1" increments on both sides

With the narrow scores on the right hand side fold the first line of scores down and mark at 1/2" on every other square.
Fold the other side down and repeat making a small tick mark at 1/2" on every alternate square

With a ruler and scoring tool score from the tick mark to the corner to form a triangle. Do the same on other side, so you will end up with a diamond shape, with the triangles scored in opposite directions.

Cut away the squares where the triangles are .
Crease on each of the triangle folds.

You can buy a selection of cardstock and patterned paper from my shop HERE

There is a step by step video tutorial which will take you through this process.
