Stampin Up Sheltering Tree

It is always a sad time when you have to send a sympathy card but by making your own to send it shows that you are sending a piece of your love and heart in the card. Stampin Up Sheltering Tree is such a wonderfully diverse stamp set that it can be used for all occasions. 

Trees have a wonderful natural aspect to them and when someone has passed trees seem to signify everything beautiful serene peaceful and somehow just perfect.

This card was a landscape layered by using the tree image stamped in various shades of brown and then the foliage was layered on top. The sentiment thinking of you is very apt.

The overall colours are subtle and are mounted on early espresso and pool party. I was really pleased how the card turned out and I know although a sad occasion it will be received well.
