Stampin Up How to make fun interctive card with mini envelopes & patterned paper

Hello and welcome to Amethystarcrafting. My name is Jane Allmark and I'm a UK Independent Stampin Up Demonstrator.

Our project today is using Speciality Designer Series Paper (DSP) and mini envelopes to create a fun and interactive card.  Open the little envelope to reveal a little message card.

Did you know that you can make any size envelope even tiny little ones with the
ENVELOPE PUNCH BOARD. This cute little envelope was made using a piece of Speciality Designer Series Paper measuring 3.5" square and punched at 1.5"

To make any size envelope take a square piece of cardstock or DSP and just divide it in half to find where the first punch will be
  • 3" x 3" punch at 1.5" to make a 1.5" envelope
  • 2" x 2" punch at 1" to make a 1" envelope
  • 4" x 4" punch at 2" to make a 2" envelope.
These are little square envelopes but are perfect for putting on a card with a little message inside.

Watch the video to see how to make these lovely cards

This paper is whilst stocks last so buy some now as it is just gorgeous with the gold foil.

The stamp set I used for the little heart and leaf were from the Ribbon of Courage Bundle. This is such a great stamp set and coordinating dies as there are some beautiful hearts, flowers and leaves which are just right for little embellishments

For anyone who is a cancer survivor or is currently battling cancer what better way than to send a card with the Ribbon Of Courage.  The sentiments are lovely and I use Sending Hugs and Kisses on lots of projects as it says it all.

Magical Day Clear Mount Stamp set. is one of the sets I will be most sorry to see retire.  Yes it is retiring so I urge you if you like fantasy with unicorns, mermaids and dragons then grab yourself this set before it is gone.

I fussy cut the little unicorn for the envelope from the gorgeous Myths and Magic DSP. This is Speciality paper as it is covered with sparkle and glimmer making the little fantasy characters really pop.  Again it is while stocks last so get in there fast.

The pretty twine that I used to tie the little envelopes is Silver Bakers Twine which is white twine with a silver thread running through it and is just perfect for tying the mini envelopes together with a bow so they can be opened to reveal the little message inside and then tied up again.

Thank you so much for continued support here and on my YouTube channel.

Stampin Up Gatefold Flower Card using Daisy Delight & Colourful Seasons

Hello and welcome to Amethystarcrafting. My name is Jane Allmark and I'm a UK Independent Stampin Up Demonstrator.

Our project today uses DAISY DELIGHT stamp set and Colourful Seasons stamp set and using some of the flowers to create a fun cut away gatefold card.

The fun part of this card is that you cut around the flower and leaf images and the inside sentiment tucks neatly underneath.

The secret to the success of the cut away area of the card is to ensure that all the stamped images run right across the card and are quite close together.

The ink pads I used for this card were,
  • Flirty Flamingo, Berry Burst, Calypso Coral and Powder Pink for the large flowers
  • Coastal Cabana for the tiny flower
  • Old Olive and Lemon/Lime Twist for the leaves.
  • Coastal Cabana for the sentiments
Buy your ink pads HERE

The 5 minute video will show you how I made this card and put it together and please look to subscribe to my YouTube channel as I post regular videos and try to keep them just long enough to sit and watch with a cup of coffee.

Thank you all for your continued support of my blog and YouTube channel. I am delighted to have 65 new subscribers in the last month.  This is wonderful encouragement for me to continue sharing my passion for Stampin Up with you.

Stampin Up Hedgehugs. Learn how to create a mirror image and tone ontone stamping.

Hello and welcome to Amethystarcrafting. My name is Jane Allmark and I'm a UK Independent Stampin Up Demonstrator.

HEDGEHUGS stamp set is the product we are using today to create this lovely Spring card.

There are several techniques to creating this card and I will show you how with this accompanying video.

  • Whisper White Card stock cut at 4.75" square
  • Mat of Lemon/Lime Twist cut at 5"
  • Card base of 5.25" x 10.5"
  • Silicone Craft Mat. This 6" x 6" mat is only £5.50 and can be used for many uses. Mirror Image technique, as a extra layer for easy stamping with the Stamparatus, to help glue pieces as doesn't stick and can easily be wiped off, with a glue gun as doesn't stick and many more.  I use mine all the time.
  • Lemon/Lime Twist and Pool Party ink pads.
  • Colouring tools of choice. I used the Stampin Blends alcohol markers which are currently sold out as were so popular but will be re-available in June 2018.
