Detailed stamps are quite often overlooked as the thought of hours of colouring in the image puts people off. However there is a simpler way which gives a beautiful look.
Using Blending Brushes and a few ink pads create a blended background then stamp the image in a coordinating ink pad
The colours I used were
Top Image - Cinnamon Cider, So Saffron & Sahara Sand
Middle - Smoky Slate, Pool Party, and So Saffron
Bottom - Blackberry Bliss, Fresh Fresia and Highland Heather.

I love the versatility of punches and the new Penguin Builder Punch available 3rd August in the new Mini catalogue is one of those.

Create lots of different styles of vases and pots and then add flowers. The flowers are made using the feet of the Penguin and the vases from different parts of the two bodies. You can even have a go at making a cacti.

I just love penguins and the Penguin Builder Punch makes the sweetest little Penguin.
I used Polished Pink, Bumble Bee and Pacific Point for the balloons and presents and mounted on Smoky Slate and Pacific Point.

I do enjoy blending a background and this one has quite a soft rainbow feel.

I made a mask with a circle punch (you could use a die) and sponged using Crushed Curry & Calypso Coral. The trees were stamped in Crumb Cake & the background in Pear Pizazz and Pool Party.

Morning everyone. How often do we use black ink to stamp with? Yes I’m guilty, I always stamp sentiments in black and images and then use other inks to colour or two step stamp.
Well when using subtle colours like Blushing Bride which is a soft pink then use a softer colour like Smoky Slate

This card uses Fresh Fresia ink pad and the two step stamp to create a subtle background. The dies are stamped in Petal Pink and Fresh Fresia ink and then die cut with the coordinating die. This card has been stamped using two step stamping with the In Colours Polished Pink, Fresh Fresia & Pale Papaya and then mounted on Soft Succulent cardstock.
This card is using just the dies and then colouring with our alcohol markers called Blends. Choose colours to compliment the cardstock used, again Soft Succulent.
