Hello and welcome to Crafting with JaneA. I have been a crafter for many years now and enjoy all type of paper crafting, cardmaking, mixed media, as well as crochet, sewing and upcycling, I hope to bring a bit of what I love to my channel and inspire and encourage you in wherever your crafting journey takes you.
With Christmas fast approaching, this is a great project to put lots of homemade tags in. This four container tag box will hold up to 30 tags of various sizes in each of the four little containers. Maybe a few less if you heavily embellish you tags, but still lots of tag space.
You can make this tag box in either cardstock or designer series paper and then finish it off with a matching bow. Coordinate your tags to match your box, or just add a lovely mixture of colours and designs.
As always here is a FREE step by step tutorial to help you create this box
Please look at subscribing to my blog and YouTube channel as I post regularly and currently have 110 video projects to give you inspiration.

Making Every Day Bright is the stamp set we are using to create this clean and simple masculine Christmas Card. Masculine cards can sometimes be a bit of a challenge. However choose the right of combinations of colours like Cherry Cobbler and Night of Navy and it is a breeze.
These two examples I used a tiny strip of Cherry Cobbler in one and a piece of dsp in the other. Just choose something which coordinates with the colours you are using.
The Everyday Label Punch gives the perfect border for the sentiment, keeping it clean and simple.
Choose and appropriate sentiment. This card would also look good as a birthday card.
Heres a FREE video tutorial giving you a step by step guide to making this card.

This is a snowflake card using the dies from the Seasonal Layers Framelits makes a beautiful clean and simple card by just putting the frame and a sentiment on a white card base.
Good quality Water Colour Paper is essential and Stampin Up Watercolour paper is excellent.
As always here is a FREE video tutorial, to show you exactly how I made this card.
Stitched Shapes Framelits give you the picture frames. Take the largest and second largest squares and follow the video.
Here is the first video in this series which shows you how I started the night sky background

Creating backgrounds for cards can be great fun and easy to achieve lots of different looks. In this tutorial and accompanying video I have used great quality watercolour paper as my base. By using a good heavy weight water colour paper you achieve some lovely results as the water does not pill or breakdown the paper, which can happen if you use an inferior paper.
Brusho, five little pots of concentrated powdered ink, in this first example I have just used the Brilliant Red. I will also show you in a further blog another lovely example using the Prussian Blue, so pop back to see this.
To make the little frames I used the Stitched Shapes Framelitswhich are gorgeous circles, squares and oval dies, four of each shape with a pretty stitched border.
and finally the gorg0eus Winter Woods Bundle. If you love everything trees, then this is the bundle for you.
So here is a step by step video tutorial to show you how to make this lovely background and frame to put it in. Please look at subscribing to my YouTube channel so you don't miss any up and coming videos. I post regularly and have over 100 current videos with lots of tips and ideas for your crafting.
Thank you for stopping by and look forward to seeing you again soon. Oh don't forget I will be posting another tutorial showing you what I did with the Prussian Blue Brusho with the Shimmer paint. If you love snowflakes then you won't want to miss this one.
Santas Workshop Speciality Designer Series Paper is such an amazing pack of flocked double sided 12" x 12" paper, 2 each of 6 different designs. You can make well of a hundred cards with just a pair of paper snips and a little fussy cutting. Snowmen, Santa, Elves, Rocking horses and so many different images for making Christmas cards simple, fun and full of love for Christmas.
These final two examples of how to make 18 cards from half a sheet of this gorgeous paper are my two favourites.
The first shows the snowman having a doze after his Christmas dinner of cookies and candies and reminds me of how we all feel on Christmas day after we have had our Christmas dinner. I made the z's for him snoozing with a smoky slate Stampin Write Marker.
The second card shows our little character with his heart full of love giving a present to the snowman. Both the hearts and the present were fussy cut from this dsp.
Here is a FREE video tutorial to show you exactly how I made these cards.
Heres part two of this series of three videos showing you how to make 18 cards from half a sheet of the snowmen Santas Workshop Speciality Designer Series Paper

Heres a video showing you how to use this lovely stamp set for all year round card, not just for Christmas, colouring the birds and garden birds, instead of just robins.

Fussy cutting while sitting watching the television is an easy way to create some lovely elements for centre pieces on your cards.
Half a sheet of the lovely flocked snowman paper can make 18 different snowman elements to make 18 cards.
Here is a selection, some which I die cut and others which I fussy cut.
This was from just half a sheet of dsp, so you can see just how many cards you can make with these lovely images.
This little snowman was made using the edge of the paper and cutting a body from the top with a head from the bottom. My motto of waste not want not means every tiny piece of this lovely dsp can be used.
Here is a video showing you how I created this lovely card.
Feathers and Frost stamp set is the perfect Christmas stamp set as it has lovely robins which are just perfect to adorn any Christmas card.
Today is part 2 of the card I started to make yesterday, pop back and have a look as I show you how to make the sentiment in two tones using the Vegas Gold Shimmer paint for one and Cherry Cobbler ink for the other and of course the Stamparatus.
You can see how a pretty sentiment with some speciality dsp, the Sprig punch and some ribbon together with the lovely little robin makes a beautiful Christmas card.
The Sprig Punch gives lovely detail to the card in Cherry Cobbler and Tranquil Tide.
Here is a step by step video showing you how to create this card. The Stamparatus and now with grid paper, extra plates, foam mat and magnets is a must have positioning tool. Designed by crafters for crafters it is in my opinion, and many others, the best positioning tool on the market.
Looking for a 13 piece Christmas stamp set that can be used all year round then Feathers and Frost at just £20 is the set for you.
This is a two part project. Part one is the sentiment stamping, using the Stamparatus to create a lovely two toned sentiment in two different ways. Ideal for batch card making as once the Stamparatus is set up you can make as many as you want.
